Management Team

The Xicon Management Team is made up of the following individuals.

Simon Heyes - Managing DirectorSimon Heyes

Simon has a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Sheffield and post his degree worked for a London based software house, Syntek. This introduced him to Oracle technology and following a series of contract assignments lead to the formation of Xicon in 1991. Simon is currently responsible for the technical services and support business and has a wide variety of customers and contacts. Simon spends much of his time developing complementary business offerings and assisting Xicon's larger clients to maximise their use of our Cloud platform.

Sue Heyes - DirectorSue Heyes

Sue has a degree in Law from the University of Sheffield and post her degree worked for a Liverpool based commercial law firm, Alsop Wilkinson. Sue joined Xicon in 1995 and is currently responsible for the administration team, including all financial and contractual matters.

 

Paul Lonsdale - DirectorPaul Lonsdale

Paul Lonsdale has a degree in Information Technology from the University of Salford and post his degree joined a Lytham based consultancy, A.S.E. Consulting. Paul joined Xicon in 1998 as a Senior Consultant with the development team and became a Director responsible for Operations in 2002. Paul is currently responsible for the development team who have a wide portfolio of customers and for assisting our customers to realise the potential of our Cloud platform.

Tracy Robinson - Commercial ManagerTracy Robinson

Tracy joined Xicon in 2001 as an accounts assistant and has developed from this role to our commercial manager. Tracy is responsible for liaising with the technical teams and coordinating internal requirements and the requirements of customers and for quality standards having attained the qualification of Lloyds internal ISO9000 Quality Auditor.

 

Richard Clarke - Support Team LeaderRichard Clarke

Rich first joined Xicon in 2000 for his work placement during his degree in Business Computing at the University of Sunderland. Post his degree he enjoyed a short assignment in the public sector in Durham before rejoining Xicon permanently in 2004. Rich has achieved certifications from Oracle, Microsoft, VMware and Dell and is now the team leader of Technical Support, a role which brings him into close contact with customers and prospects, for Xicon’s Cloud Services.
